VersionEverything here is about the helper and its people. Nobody's links or titles are shown or kept.

People
Add a person
The last 7 days. Counts only: what was typed is never recorded, and neither is who tried.
Wrong passwords per day
Signed-in devices
Tap Sign out to remove a device. That device must sign in again. “Last used” is accurate to about an hour.
| Person | Device | Signed in | Last used |

How the app is used: counted here on the helper, as totals only. No links, titles or passwords, and nothing records who saved what. Times are Central.
Clips saved a day
By site
By quality
Why clips failed
Instagram and Facebook will not show pictures to anyone who is not signed in. Giving the helper a signed-in cookie from a browser lets it fetch them. Videos work without this.
What is saved now
Put in a sign-in
Use a second Instagram account made for this, never your own. Anyone who can fetch here will be browsing as that account, and sites sometimes shut down accounts used this way.
- In a browser, sign in to that account.
- Add a cookies.txt extension (for example "Get cookies.txt LOCALLY" for Chrome or Firefox).
- Open the site, then use the extension to export only that site's cookies to a file.
- Open the file in a plain text editor, copy everything, and paste it below. Copying from a web page instead of the file turns the tabs into spaces and will not work.
Try it on a link
Paste a picture post that failed, and the helper will say what the site answers now. Nothing is kept.

Tools
What Curation Vault keeps, for how long, and what it does not keep.
Kept
- Each person's username and a scrambled form of their password. The password itself is never stored.
- Each signed-in device: the kind of device (for example iPhone, Safari), when it signed in and when it was last used.
- Finished clips and their names, on the helper for 24 hours and then deleted. Each is visible only to the person who saved it. Admins cannot open other people's clips.
- Daily totals: sign-ins, wrong passwords, lockouts, refused requests, clips saved or failed (with the reason), which site and quality, link checks and app opens, for up to 400 days.
- For each day, which people used the app at all (used for the "people a day" number), also for up to 400 days.
Not kept
- The links people paste. They are used to fetch the clip and then forgotten, even when the clip stays for 24 hours.
- Passwords or wrong guesses, and who made them.
- Which person saved which site, quality or failed clip: the totals have no names in them.
- Anything sent to an outside analytics service. All counting happens on the helper.
